From this page you can download some resources which might be useful to you if you are a year 3 teacher in a British school.

NFER test score conversion spreadsheet

This is a spreadsheet written in Microsoft Excel which will save you a lot of time when converting raw test scores into standardised scores. It can deal with the following tests:

  • NFER-Nelson Progress in English 8
  • NFER-Nelson Non-Verbal Reasoning 8 & 9
  • NFER-Nelson Suffolk Reading Scale 2, Level 1 Form B
  • NFER-Nelson Maths 8
It is simple to use and is provided free. While I think that it is correct I can offer no guarantees about the results.
